NATIONAL CHEESECAKE DAY CELEBRATION
National Cheesecake Day, that most revered of culinary holidays, at least by CinnaMan was heartily celebrated for
the second consecutive year at CinnaMan Villa with CinnaMan baking an array of his cheesecake for a most
appreciative crowd. A good time was had by all! Hopefully, some of you will join us for next year's fest.
Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Bites – An oatmeal cookie crust is topped with lemon-flavored cream cheese and
blueberry preserves. Fresh blueberries on top.
Black Forest Cheesecake Bites – Fudge cake is the base for this dessert which is filled with a layer of vanilla
cream cheese then a layer of fudgy cream cheese and topped with cherry pie filling.
Coffee Cheesecake Bars (not pictured) :-( – Chocolate cookie crust with coffee-flavored cream cheese.

Brown Sugar Peach Shortcake (9-inch) – This CinnaMan original creation, and
my featured dessert for August, begins with a brown sugar pound cake base,
then a filling of cream cheese with peach preserves. The top is brown sugar
whipped cream with fresh peach slices.
Cheesecake Bites –
Nilla wafer crust is the
base for CinnaMan’s
version of banana
cream pie. The filling is
cream cheese with
banana puree and a
dose of banana
wafers are sprinkled on
Brownies – Fudge
brownie topped with
cheese swirled with

Whiskey and Chocolate (“Black Jack”)
(individual, 4-inch) – A gingersnap
crust holds a cream cheese filling with
semisweet chocolate and a taste of
Jack Daniels. The top is dusted with
cocoa powdered sugar.
Almond Amaretto Cheesecake with
Crushed Almond Praline Glaze
(individual, 4-inch) – Three layers of
almonds and amaretto highlight this
treat, beginning with an amaretti
cookie crust with almond bits. The
filling is almond and amaretto flavored
and topped with a crushed almond
